Quality control and certification

At Betech Seals, we believe it to be of crucial strategic importance that we can meet customer requirements on relevant quality control and can document necessary official approvals on product safety.

In our experience, a well-documented, well-integrated quality management system also supports the company's core values in an excellent way.

Quality assurance is thus an integral part of our everyday work.

ISO 9001: Certified quality management

Betech Seals has been certified to ISO 9000 by Norwegian Veritas since 1997.

In May 2004 we were re-certified to ISO 9001:2000. As part of the upgrade, our certification was extended to also cover design and development.

Most recently, in June 2010, we achieved certification to ISO 9001:2008.

Besides our own internal audits and regular audits by an ISO approved consultant, our factory is also audited by the quality departments of various international OEM companies among our customers.

ISO/TS 16949: Approval process for product parts (PPAP)

Where it is relevant to our customers, we comply with the principles of ISO/TS 16949.

Both we and our sub-suppliers utilise quality management tools such as: Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).

FDA og EU 1935/2004: Contact with foodstuff

Betech Seals provides rubber products in accordance with EU regulation no. 2023/2006 of Dec. 22 2006 and no. 1935/2004 of Oct. 27 2004. An assessment and approval is done based on EU resolution ”Rubber products intended to come into contact with foodstuff” version 1 June 10. 2004.
